After graduating from university, he joined Keyence, a leading FA company in Japan.
Over 29 years, he led domestic and international business development, helping improve productivity and operational efficiency at countless manufacturers, including global automotive firms.
While pursuing manufacturing efficiency, he encountered Europe's vision for a circular economy.
He realized that to protect global resources and the environment, industries must shift from mass disposal to circular systems.
In May 2025, he established Circular E in Tokyo, followed by a base in Rotterdam in Aug.
The company focuses on designing and scaling high-impact circular business models.
Eiji is dedicated to accelerating the circular transformation across regions, industries, and value chains.

Currently, he is involved in designing and facilitating workshops, building ecosystems, and supporting new business models through design.
His focus lies in creating value at the intersection of business, social impact, and creativity.
Specializes in regional research & branding, community engagement, and has wide range of experience including graphic design, digital media, film, product development, and spatial design, as both designer and creative director.
